Initial Services
 
  • New clients will receive a New Client Packet containing applicable pet information, along with references and insurance information.
  • CHEZ PUP representative will visit the client's home for an initial and complimentary interview, assessment of duties and meeting of your pet.
  • For boarding and day care services, we ask that you visit the CHEZ PUP premises prior to your pet's stay. During this meeting, you will see where your pet will be residing and make sure he/she will be comfortable at CHEZ PUP. This visit also allows your pet to become acclimated to the new surroundings, so it's not too much of a shock to your pet the day of delivery.
Pet Services
 
  • Pet will be engaged in play unless otherwise noted by client.
  • Pet will be fed and provided for as instructed by client.
  • If applicable, medication will be administered as instructed by client.
  • Client keys will be properly secured at all times.
  • Pet waste will be removed and disposed of according to client wishes.
Welfare of a Pet
 
  • Pet shall never be left unattended when away from client property.
  • Pet shall be leashed at all times unless specifically directed by client to allow pet to run free within an enclosed area only.
  • In emergency situations, every effort will be made to contact client for direction in resolving the emergency.
  • If client cannot be reached, CHEZ PUP representative will use his/her best judgment to reach a solution. Additional fees may apply for visits to the vet, required medications, etc.
Home Services
 
  • Home services will be provided as instructed by the client, (e.g. alternate lighting patterns, retrieval of mail, watering of plants, etc.)
    Any emergency actions as necessary.
Records Management
 
  • Client keys will be stored at a secured CHEZ PUP location. Key tag identifier will be labeled with the lead pet’s name, (if multiple pets in the household).
  • Client record files will be stored in a secure CHEZ PUP location at all times.
  • Client information will never be shared or disclosed to any other entity. E-mail addresses will be used solely for CHEZ PUP communications, unless otherwise noted by client.
